  from 1978 to 1990:

In 1978, with Luigi Alberti, it is born the Point to Point . This is the evolution of the wood working machine developing from simple boring machine into High precision Numerically controlled working centre

In 1979, the machine F5/CN is first exhibited at the World Fair LIGNA in Hannover, where it meets the interest of all visitors.

In 1983, it is first exhibited the model TF-CN, the first flexible Working Centre numerically controlled by computer, having upper working groups permitting the longitudinal advancing and introduction of the panel , able to realize the flexible lines having high production capacity. Thel model TF-CN, at the beginning could reach a production capacity of about 1200 units on 8 working hours, today the production capacity is more than doubled. With the market introduction of the first personal computers based on system MS DOS, V.Alberti has quickly decided to insert the same in its machines as interface man-machine, thus obtaining a triplicate result:

- The machines Alberti have become real Numerically controlled Working Centres (boring, routing, cutting, inserting several types of toolings and so on).

- Thanks to the use of the PC evolving and user-friendly softwares, the use of our machines has become more easy, meeting the several requirements of the panel working.
  - Compatibility with all major controlling and projecting CAD-CAM systems available on the market.

In 1989, it is started the building of the new seat in Cernusco sul Naviglio enlarging the covered area for the assembly and installation of the machines of 2000 square metres and of the offices of 1000 square metres.

In 1990, are introduced on the market the first Working centres Point to Point at CN, EDIT 2000/CN and FORMAT 90/CN, based on double working table concept and 3 axes interpolation.
